Hello! Michele here. Welcome to my blog, Running Feels Good. I’m a 40-something Aussie that came to running a bit later in life and I love it. You can read my running story here.
I started this blog as a resource for new runners, recreational runners and runners new to MAF training.
When I first learned about MAF training it was a revelation to me; it made a lot of sense and I knew that’s how I should be training. Many of the resources I found were targeted to competitive/elite athletes, which was great information; but I did not find many stories about your average fun-runner using MAF training, just like me, where the results come a little slower.
Join me on my journey with MAF training – this is my experience as a recreational runner that wants long term good health and to enjoy running for many years to come. My hope is you find my story relatable to your own running experiences. I’d love to hear your experiences of MAF training, too!

Please note that I am not an athletics coach or nutritionist. My aim is to share with you my experience and what works for me. You should do what is best for you and your health needs. Please seek advice from your health professional(s) for information specific to you. Hopefully, this blog offers you some stories and resources that you find helpful on your journey.
